The ministry of the Hagar Home Maternal Center in Romania, founded by AGWM personnel, Raegan Glugosh, provides an alternative to child abandonment and gives mothers the opportunity to experience the hope that is found in Jesus. The testimony of one of those mothers illustrated the eternal value of what is being accomplished at the home.

Melissa is a single mother with an 8-year old child who has lived at Hagar Home for the past year. She says, “God has made so many changes since then, from my way of thinking to changing my unhealthy habits. I never would have believed that the Bible could offer you all the information and answers to life, though I’m now convinced that nothing can be accomplished without God!

“The ministry team at Hagar Home had an important role in my discipleship. I had many doubts and struggles in my life but the desire to be close to God and follow him all my life was very strong. Two months ago, I made the decision to proclaim Jesus as the Lord of my life and was water baptized!

I cannot go back to my life before, a life of fighting, violence, lies and disobedience to God. If I continue to draw close to God, He will get close to me! Although the life of a single mother in Romania is quite hard, I know that when you believe in God things are different. I see every day how faithful He is, even in the smallest things.

I don’t have enough words to thank God for how He has worked in my life. Only through Him, do I have the strength and power to go further.”
