2nd_Anniversary_Photo_2.jpgOn May 12, 2012  The International Church of Rome founded by AGWM personnel, Bob and Lynne Rose, commemorated its second anniversary and what a celebration it was!  The Roses had returned to Rome to renew their residency documents and were able to rejoice with the church. Ten nations were represented and there were special songs in Italian, French, Swahili, Japanese, and Igbo. The food from 10 nations was incredible!

The day of celebration witnessed the addition to the family of God.  An Italian man, Maurizio, heard singing and wandered into the church. He had heard the Gospel message before but had never accepted Christ as his Savior. After the service, Pastor Benoit, the graduate student who now is the pastor of ICR, and Carmen, the worship leader, spoke to him about his need of salvation. At the end of their conversation, Maurizio asked Jesus into his heart! He had stumbled into the church filled with such emptiness but left with the breath of God in his life!

The Roses are rejoicing that God is building His church. When the International Church of Rome was planted in 2010, the Roses started the work alone. Two years later, a Bible school graduate has been installed as pastor, there is a worship leader,  a church secretary/treasurer and a prayer coordinator. An awakening is happening! People have come to Christ and the Lord has added to His church!
