Searching for Truth and Finding Jesus in France

Sunday afternoon, June 26, 2016 Suzanne Spolarich, AGWM Personnel in France had the privilege and delight of baptizing Emmanuelle N'Kodia, a university student. Suzanne relates Emmanuelle’s testimony of coming to faith in Jesus.

“In 2012, Emmanuelle came to The Bridge International Church in Paris at the invitation of Claudrine, a student who made her acquaintance while in a store. That day they ended up talking about God and Emmanuelle then met every week with a few friends to discuss the Bible. She came to the Bridge whenever she could since she worked on Sunday. Having been disillusioned by religion, Emmanuelle was searching for the truth. As a result of these small-group discussions, Emmanuelle accepted Jesus as her Savior.

In 2013 Emmanuelle decided to quit a Sunday job and come to The Bridge on a more regular basis, making this a priority. She met me and Guy, a leader with me in our University Students and Young Professionals group. I remember when she started coming to our small group. She was very interested and just couldn’t get enough of God’s Word. She became more active in the group and started serving at The Bridge.

It was during our spring University Student/ Young Professional retreat in 2016 that Emmanuelle made the decision to follow Christ in baptism.

Emmanuelle just graduated and she is now serving on the leadership team of our university students and young professionals group.

What a joy it is to accompany students on their journey to becoming disciples of Jesus Christ! I see 2 Timothy 2:2 coming to fruition in my life and ministry: ‘You have heard me teach things that have been confirmed by many reliable witnesses. Now teach these truths to other trustworthy people who will be able to pass them on to others.’”
