"Back in June we were in the south of France for services in Le Luc, Brignoles and St. Maxime. When we arrived, and while I was unloading my car I talked with the man of the family that housed us. Jean and Marijeanne are in their 70s. She's come to the Lord fairly recently, but one of the first things Jean said when I was talking to him was, 'I'm not a brother. I believe 97-98%, but I'm not there. I don't want to be dishonest and say Ibelieve when I don't."

These folks welcomed us for a whole week with a generous heart. Jean was regular in church services, but he wasn't 'there' in his relationship with God yet.

IMG_1596.JPGA couple of weeks after our visit I got a text message as I prepared for a Sunday morning service. It was from Jean's pastor, Vincent. 'I talked to Jean after the Thursday evening service and he told me that the three percent didn't exist anymore. He believes!'

Vincent was 800 kilometers away, but he might have heard my yelp of joy on hearing the news. If God's angels rejoice, why not us?

Statistics show that most people who come to the Lord, do so before 18 years of age. Jean is a 75-year old Frenchman. He's going to be baptized this month.  He is also in need of physical healing for his heart."
