AGWM Personnel, Chuck and Marilyn Kackley, minister to our American military personnel, based in Germany. Annually, a retreat for the military is held in Garmisch. This fall there were around 70 participants who attended from the Kackley’s congregation. The retreat is always a highlight for the families as it is a chance to “recharge” spiritual batteries. Military families face unique challenges, and military marriages often suffer due to challenges of deployments and extended times of separation. The Kackleys report that the retreat this year focused on Christian marriages and they are continuing to receive comments about the blessing of the things learned in the sessions.

Aiyanna, (pictured 3^rd from the left in the photo) was diagnosed with a severe skin disorder shortly before coming to the retreat with her family. She was covered with large red welts all over her body. The doctors had told her parents that it would be a couple of months just trying to get it under control. At the end of one of the evening services at the retreat, there was a time of praying for healing so Aiyanna’s parents brought her up for prayer. Her young friends stayed around the altar to pray for their friend until late in the evening. It seemed that Aiyanna’s color had improved and everyone left the service believing that God had healed her. The next morning it was confirmed that in fact, He had! Her welts were gone and her skin was normal. She is still enjoying the results of God’s touch!
